"Try Before you Buy" Bridal Accessories
Share
For brides looking for the perfect wedding look, it can be difficult to know what accessories best suit their style. With so many options available and little in-person opportunities to try them, it can be difficult to make a decision without ever having seen or felt the item in person.
In this blog post we will discuss the benefits of “try before you buy” when it comes to bridal accessories, including wedding veils, bridal capes, and blusher bridal veils.
Why you Need to Try Before you Buy for your Wedding
Before you say “I Do,” you want to make sure your look is perfect. In order to make the right accessory decisions, nothing is more helpful than trying them on first. Unfortunately, you might not be able to access all the styles at the salon as their stock is often limited.
That’s why we offer the opportunity to try on your favorite bridal accessories before you commit to buying them. No longer do you need to worry about whether or not they will suit your bridal look.

Fun Pre-Wedding Activity for Bridal Party
Brides love to Play Dress Up
Were you one of those little girls who played "make-believe" with costume jewelery and your big sister's clothes? Maybe you would try on your mom's make-up when she didn't know just to see what it would look like to feel all dolled up? I know that I certainly did.
Guess what... dress-up is no longer just for kids! After all, who doesn’t like a good dress-up party?
Tips for Trying on Wedding Accessories
My brides are getting creative in how they celebrate their special day. I highly encourage you to make this shopping and try on time special and memorable by doing a few extra steps. It is those small touches that make your experience special and one-of-a-kind.
Here are a few of my tips to get the "butterflies in your tummy" experience when your bedroom becomes your bridal salon.
- Set the Atmosphere
- Have friends/ family there to help
- Turn on music
- Make sure you choose a place with lots of lighting
- get snacks and your beverage of choice
- gather all of your accessories (including shoes, jewelry, undergarments, wedding dress, hair accessories)putting on make-up
- Bridal Hair + Make-up
- Put on makeup
- Do your hair in a similar style to what you are thinking of for your big day (updo, downdo, curled, etc)
- Make sure that you are wearing the right undergarments
- Mix and Match Bridal Styles
- Put on your gown and experiment with different pieces of jewelry and accessories to see which combination you like best
-
Don't be sad if your veil and dress are not quite ready for that walk down the aisle - They may need some TLC with a thorough steaming to remove the wrinkles!
